Minneapolis
We’ve been to Minneapolis a couple of times and always have a good time there. There’s lots to see and do, great food, great hiking, a lively downtown, and some of the funkiest shops we’ve ever been to.

Food/Drinks
- Luna and the Bear - is great for drinks and appetizers
- Centro is a great Mexican restaurant (highly recommend their yucca fries)
- Eat Street Crossing - a cantina-style place with a wide variety of food to choose—sushi, ramen, burgers, pizza, boba, ice cream, etc.
- Colita
- Bryant Lake Bowl - great for breakfast, they have great bloody marys!
- Pizzeria Lola (be sure to hit the photo booth)
- Tilia - great beer on tap, great bar
- Hot Plate - a good breakfast place
- The Bread & Pickle - on Lake Harriet
Art/Museums
- Walker Art Center - an amazing museum and sculpture garden
- Mill City Museum
Outdoors/Hiking
- Minehaha falls - beautiful park with hiking and an amazing waterfall
- Lake Bde Maka Ska
Shopping
- Hunt & Gather Antiques
- Gallery 360 - great local goods
- AX-MAN Surplus - best crazy selection of robot-making treasures in the US, plus the most random assortment of odds and ends.
- Mill City Market
- Mall of America - the ultimate mall, you have to see it at least once
