I’ve lived in or around Kansas City, Missouri for most of my life. It will always be home, wherever I live. There are many great bars and restaurants, galleries, shopping, and things to do. Here are a few of our favorites.

Winsteads - excellent steakburgers, a KC institution
Planters Seed and Spice Company
Earl’s Premier - East Coast style seafood place.
Grunauer - home of one of my favorite cocktails, Der Schmutzige - Black pepper/mustard vodka with pickle brine, kraut juice, & beet juice, garnished with house-pickled vegetables, served up.
Pigwich - great sandwiches in the River Market
